BECAUSE I'M HAPPY!

Guys, guys! Guess what! . . . insert drumroll here . . . I finished my first dissertation chapter. Hooray! I am very happy to report that I now have 59 pages (of a likely 250, eeps!) of this massive tome in the books. After weeks of frantic writing I was delighted to finally hand off a draft to my advisor yesterday and now I will spend the whole weekend celebrating by doing nothing. Well, it's obsessive old me we're talking about here, so not quite nothing, more like lots of these fun relaxing things:

 . . . eating massive amounts of ice cream at this amazing shop . . . 

. . . frolicking in the summer grass . . .

. . . going sailing! (okay my boat looks more like this, but it feels like an awesome yacht when we're out there!) . . . and setting up this in the boat! . . . 

. . .  playing with my food . . . 

. . . . watching some awesome town fireworks here . . . 

 . . . . drinking refreshing cocktails . . . .

. . . . and of course taking lots and lots of naps!
