As you likely know, I love maps. And the colorful, pseudo-abstract creations of artist Jennifer Maravillas are no exception. Calling her work "surrealist cartography" she draws urban landscapes as filtered through her own subconscious interpretations. The result is a complex array of pattern, contrast and information that combine to form an exciting visual result.
